This movie comes from my anxiety to see how basic human rights, especially the right to housing, are often ignored when the government is doing development. I wanted to help the residents of Kampung Bayam to voice their struggle, to provide a platform for them to speak out. Hopefully, this movie can be a reminder that fighting for justice is not only the responsibility of those who have lost their rights, but the responsibility of all of us.
